"I'm not a man of many words. Excepy sometimes when I have been drinking." -Randy Evans
There has to exsit a certain drive to maintain the skiing lifestyle. Randy Evans may come across as kind of quiet, aspiring Mario, but still water runs deep. Listening to him speak recently, Randy spoke about his style, what makes him a successful skiier, and the answer was surprising.
Coming up to Montana from Colorado, many a man has lost his mind to the snows and nary returned from the curse of the ski bum. But Mr. Evans is an educated man, and is proud to add intelligence to his repetoire of tricks. Recently graduated in Geology, Mr. Evans din't let his studies stand in the way of ripping hard and shredding deep. He seems driven by an innate desire to explore, experience, and surpass personal expectation in the mountains. This desire is characteristic of all soul skiers, and is what makes Montana such an attractive place to anyone who prefers to spend their days testing their physical abilities in the mountains as oppose to holding a steady job or anything that involves being bound to one place. As a central member of the Bridger Brigade, Mr. Evans has helped documented their travels through short ski edits which provide viewers with a dose of the unrelenting excitement of extreme skiing.
In the future, Mr. Evans will continue to promote the sport of big mountain exploration skiing style, while advocating the protection of the natural environment. that makes it possible, but most importantly, our goal is to pursue our passion for skiing, no matter what the cost.
